Our fossilized walrus tusk and tiger iron bracelet brings out the variegated earthy colors in both of these gorgeous materials, all set off by gleaming sterling silver.
Our handmade tiger iron bracelet is a wonderfully organic combination of rich tiger iron and fossilized ivory. Each carved ivory bracelet is utterly unique, highlighting these gorgeous materials against a gleaming sterling silver setting.
Tiger iron is actually a combination stone, usually consisting of red or yellow jasper, tiger eye, and hematite. It is said to have grounding/motivating properties and to be an excellent stone for supporting artists, promoting balance, and fostering vitality. Its combination of different minerals and stones creates the richly colored striations that signify this dynamic stone.
Our designers placed alternating links of fossilized walrus tusk between the tiger iron to give this bracelet a touch of ancient times. Our fossilized walrus ivory is between 500 and 3,000 years old, gaining its earthen tone after centuries spent buried in the earth. It is prized for its relative scarcity and fine quality, and it makes a wonderfully balanced counterpoint to the tiger iron's more decorative striations.
