Jenny Byrne, our lead designer, conceived of a bee jewelry line shortly after hearing of the honeybee's plight. It is her hope that our garnet and silver bee earrings will bring beauty, inspiration, and awareness into others' lives. The more we can raise awareness about declining honeybee levels, the better involved we can all become in reversing this alarming trend.

Our honeybees are carved from fossilized mammoth tusk, a prized natural material that dates back over 15,000 years to when the last of the wooly mammoths roamed the earth. Our mammoth tusk has spent thousands of years buried in permafrost or in the earth where minerals stain it warm caramel to soft brown hues. Mammoth tusk is especially poignant in these honeybee earrings as it reminds us of how we can lose animal populations to extinction and how important conservation is today.
