This ancient material has been buried for most of its long life in permafrost or in the earth where the earth where it is colored a range of colors from soft cream to rich caramel. These earrings are assembled by hand using fine sterling silver chain and accents. The use of silver offers a gleaming counterpoint to the fossilized ivory's opaque and earthen quality.
