Sparkling rainbow moonstone tops this hand carved mammoth pendant, capturing the light with each movement. The embellished sterling silver setting complements the rich warm tones of the fossilized mammoth ivory.
During a rainstorm are you the type to climb a tree to get a better look or would you rather be inside under a blanket? However you prefer to experience storms, the electric energy in the air is palpable to everyone. These graceful earrings were inspired by a thunderstorm that rolled in on a hot summer night, bringing with it a much needed deluge of rain on the valley.
The top stone is a square faceted rainbow moonstone, attached to embellished sterling silver that holds a piece of ancient mammoth ivory. The mammoth ivory was buried in the ground for over 15,000 years. Long after the mammoths went extinct, this prized material was excavated to be carved into heirloom jewelry.
